The Spokane Farmland Preservation Working Group (est. 2019) advocates in favor of the community's desire to protect farmland from development, as reflected in language that the People fought for in the state's Growth Management Act and the region's various Comprehensive Plans. The Spokane Farmland Preservation Working Group develops policy proposals and takes action to achieve more effective farmland preservation and strengthen the preservation policies that our state and local governments are currently failing to do.
